General Terms

2. Purpose of the service

BESTB4 is an online advertising platform available on the web as well as in PWA and TWA form. Its purpose is to allow grocery retailers to advertise products that are close to their best-before date to consumers and resellers.

The website is not an online store and does not intermediate sales. Consumers purchase products directly in the store. No sales contract is concluded between the Service Provider and the consumer, and the Service Provider does not participate in the payment process.

The system also includes single and bulk reservation functions. Users can submit a reservation request which is forwarded to the store. The store prepares the product(s) and hands them over in store or—for bulk reservations, if offered by the store—via courier. Payment is always made in the store or to the courier.

3. Definitions

Service Provider: BLUETAC Kft.
User: a consumer or a business using the website.
Partner: a business registered on the website.
Store: a retail unit entered by a Partner.
Employee: a manager added by the Store.
Product: a food item uploaded by the Partner that is close to its best-before date.
Product upload package: the contractual bundle that grants upload entitlement.
Contract: the agreement concluded between the Service Provider and the Partner upon purchasing a package.

4. Scope

These Terms apply to Partners registered on partner.bestb4.hu. The document language is Hungarian. The Privacy Notice forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. Nature of the service

A digital content service requiring internet access and a compatible device. The Service Provider may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance. The service is available on the web, as a PWA, and as a TWA.

6. Registration and contracting

6.1 Partner registration

Registration takes place at partner.bestb4.hu. The registrant provides the contact person’s name, e-mail address, password, company/business name, tax number, billing address, and optionally a phone number, logo and a verification document (e.g. sole trader certificate, company extract, utility bill, etc.).
Verification documents are used solely to confirm business legitimacy; they are stored securely for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.

6.2 Stores and employees

Partners can create Stores on their dashboard; Store managers can add Employees (e.bestb4.hu). Each Store has separate login credentials.

6.3 Contract formation

The contract is concluded by ordering a product upload package and is activated automatically after payment. The contract is formed in digital form and is not archived.

6/A. Product reservations and bulk reservations

  • The User may submit a reservation request to a Store.

  • The Store may confirm or reject the reservation.

  • Collection & payment: in store, or for bulk reservations—if offered by the Store—via courier, with payment to the courier.

  • Fulfilment and delivery are the sole responsibility of the Store.

  • The Service Provider only forwards reservation requests and does not handle payments.

6/B. Wholesale–reseller access

  • Wholesale catalogues are available only to approved resellers.

  • The User submits business details (company name, tax number, billing address, activity) to the selected wholesaler.

  • The wholesaler reviews and approves or rejects the request.

  • Requests are permanently recorded in the system. Business data belong to the User’s profile and can be deleted only by the User.

  • After deletion, such data are no longer displayed to wholesalers.

  • The Service Provider does not take part in, and is not responsible for, the decision.

  • No online payment: purchases occur in store or with the courier.

7. Product upload packages and switching rules

  • BBSFree (30 days, 5 product uploads) — free

  • BBS20 (30 days, 20 product uploads) — paid

  • BBSPremium (30 / 90 / 180 / 360 days, unlimited uploads) — paid

BBSFree can be requested again every 30 days. When a new package is purchased, it starts on the purchase date; the previous active package ends and any unused credits expire. Current prices are shown at https://bestb4.hu/for-partners.

8. Payment and invoicing

Stripe: the Service Provider does not see or store card data.
Bank transfer: payment term 7 days.
Invoicing: automatically via Billingo.
The service is activated immediately; therefore no refunds or withdrawal right apply (Gov. Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) §29 m) of Hungary).

9. Liability

Partners are responsible for product data. The Service Provider is not liable for damages arising from incorrect data or for failures of external providers (Stripe, Billingo, Google, Tárhely.eu). The Service Provider may suspend accounts in case of abuse or violations.

10. Copyright

The website, web application, PWA/TWA package, source code and branding are the intellectual property of BLUETAC Kft. Any copying, modification or unauthorised use is prohibited.

11. Maintenance and force majeure

The Service Provider may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, development or updates. In cases of force majeure (power outage, network failure, server error, third-party outage, etc.) the Service Provider is relieved from liability.

12. Termination

The contract terminates automatically upon package expiry or non-payment. Unused credits are not refundable.

13. Price and terms changes

The Service Provider may change prices and terms. Changes take effect on the date of publication and do not affect already concluded contracts.

14. Dispute resolution

Parties shall first attempt amicable settlement (support@bestb4.hu). Failing this, jurisdiction lies with the Szeged District Court or the Szeged Regional Court (Hungary).

15. Final provisions

Acceptance of these Terms is required via checkbox during registration and package purchase. The current version is always available at https://bestb4.hu/aszf. The Service Provider has not submitted to any code of conduct.
